In my previous post, I mentioned how I have been enjoying using the “felt sense” in my guiding work with clients. This was never specifically intended to be a part of the Odoki Method - it just turned out to be extremely useful in the preparation stages of the Method.
This led me to finally get around to reading “The Way of Curiosity”, a new book by my friend Peter Gill. It would be so helpful for there to be a good book I can easily recommend to clients on this topic, so I began with expectations.
As it turned out, my expectations were met, and more. I really enjoyed his writing style - it was so simple, refreshing and humble. He presents the work in an engaging way. As I read through further chapters, I found myself responding with “yes!” to pretty much every section and exercise I read. Every point I value about the felt sense, he articulated clearly, and added more.
I will, for sure, be recommending this book to my clients when they want to dig deeper into the felt sense.
